DOUBLEMINT - STAIRS
You may recognize the actress as Veronica Ngo, recently in Da 5 Bloods, The Old Guard and The Last Jedi. But when we shot this, she was just Ngo Thanh Van. The inspiration for this story actually happened to me very late one night in a Bangkok hotel elevator. I’d just retruned from a 16-hour shoot, ran into Shu Qi in the lift, my brain malfunctioned, and my tongue tripped out of my mouth.
